Analysis of Factors Influencing Urine Testing by Urine Analyzer in Clinical Testing
Objective:To analyze the relevant influencing factors of applying urine analyzers to urine testing in clinical trials.Methods:157 patients who underwent urine tests in our hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 were randomly selected, apply a fully automated urine analyzer to perform urine testing, compare urine test results at different storage times and temperatures, and analyze the influencing factors of urine test results. Results:There was no statistically significant difference in the detection rates of white blood cell content,pH value, urine specific gravity, nitrite positivity, and urine glucose positivity between immediate examination and 30 minutes of storage of urine samples(P>0.05).The white blood cell content,pH value, and urine specific gravity values of urine samples were higher after 60 minutes of storage, and the rates of nitrite positivity and urine glucose positivity were higher than those of immediate examination and 30 minutes of storage, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The urine test results at 25˚C showed that the positive rates of white blood cells, urinary ketone bodies, and urine glucose were all higher than those at 4˚C-8˚C,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).A total of 17 patients had errors in urine sample detection, with a total error rate of 10.83%.Among them, laboratory factors accounted for the highest proportion, followed by urine collection, clinical medication, and sample preservation. The proportion of samples sent for testing was the lowest. Conclusion:There are many factors that affect the results of urine analyzer testing. In order to ensure the accuracy of the test results,it is necessary to standardize the testing process, properly store them, and send them for testing in a timely manner to reduce the incidence of testing errors.
