The Value of Abdominal Ultrasound and Colonoscopy in the Early Diagnosis of Ischemic Colitis
Objective:To study the value of abdominal ultrasound combined with colonoscopy in the early diagnosis of ischemic colitis.Methods:145 suspected early ischemic colitis patients who received treatment at our hospital and cooperative hospitals from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects. After admission, abdominal ultrasound and colonoscopy were performed on the patients, and the diagnostic results were used as the gold standard to evaluate the value of abdominal ultrasound combined with colonoscopy in the early diagnosis of ischemic colitis.Results:① Among 145 suspected cases of early ischemic colitis,92 were ultimately diagnosed, and 93 cases were detected through abdominal ultrasound combined with colonoscopy, with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);② The positive predictive value of abdominal ultrasound combined with colonoscopy for early diagnosis of ischemic enteritis was 96.77%,the negative predictive value was 96.15%,the sensitivity was 97.83%,the specificity was 94.34%,the accuracy was 96.55%,the Jordan index was 92.17%,the misdiagnosis rate was 5.66%,and the missed diagnosis rate was 2.17%;③ Abdominal ultrasound and colonoscopy have personalized diagnostic features for early ischemic colitis. Conclusion:Early diagnosis of ischemic colitis using abdominal ultrasound combined with colonoscopy can help determine the patient's symptoms, with high sensitivity and characteristic manifestations, which can provide scientific reference for clinical treatment.
