Discussion on Annual Quality Control of Multi Parameter Monitor
Objective:To enhance the understanding of multi-parameter monitors among medical staffin our hospital and improve the accuracy,effectiveness and safety of multi-parameter monitors.Methods:Review of the targeted and planned annual quality control management of our hospital's multi-brand and multi-parameter monitors in 2019.The specific measures included assigning dedicated quality control personnel;Using FLUKE and other professional quality control instruments to test various indicators of multi-parameter monitors;In accordance with the needs of clinical medical workers,timely rectify unqualified equipment in quality control;Optimizing quality control solutions to reduce failure rates.Results:As of the end of November 2019,our hospital had completed the quality control of 172 monitors,of which 156 met the qualified standards,with a qualified rate of 90.6%.The unqualified monitors were then repaired and re-quality controlled,and the overall qualified rate rose to 97.6%,an increase of 7%.The qualified rate of equipment was significantly improved after quality control management.Conclusion:Through annual quality control projects,the safety and reliability of medical equipment,especially life support equipment,are ensured.Quality control plans are improved in a timely manner based on existing problems,and the quality control of monitors is enhanced.At the same time,it also promotes communication and exchange between the medical department and clinical medical staff,making multi parameter monitoring better serve clinical and patient needs.
