Objective:Compare the consistence between VERION digital guided system with other instruments including IOL Master 500 and Pentacam in the measurement of keratometry and astigmatism preoperatively. Methods:The keratometric data including mean kematometry, astigmatic magnitude and axis of 72 eyes diagnosed with cataract from February 2023 to June 2023 in Department of Cataract of Xiamen Eye Center Affiliated to Xiamen University measured by VERION,IOL Master 500 and Pentacam were recorded and analyzed. The anterior corneal surface measured by Pentacam was recorded as"Pentacam-F"and the total cornea surface was recorded as"Pentacam-T".Results:There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the average corneal curvature measured by VERION navigation system,IOL Master500,Pentacam-F,and Pentacam-T.Among them,42 eyes had corneal astigmatism>1.0D.There was no significant difference in the size of corneal astigmatism measured by VERION and IOL Master500(P>0.05),but there was a statistical difference in the size of corneal astigmatism measured by Pentacam-F and Pentacam-T(P<0.05).In terms of astigmatism axis measurement, the difference between the astigmatism axis measured by the VERION system and the astigmatism axis measured by the IOL Master is less than 10°,accounting for 97.6%(41/42)of the total;Compared with Pentacam-F,a difference of less than 10° accounted for 85.7%(36/42)of the total;Compared with Pentacan-T,a difference of less than 10° accounted for 76.2%(32/42)of the total. Conclusions:VERION is in good agreement with IOL Master and in moderate agreement with Pentcam in keratometric measurements.VERION system is reliable in keratometric measurement.
