Clinical Study on the Application of Color Doppler Ultrasound in the Prognosis of Ankle Surgery Wounds in Elderly Patients
Objective:To explore the value of color Doppler ultrasound in predicting wound healing in the process of ankle surgery for elderly patients. Methods:From March 2022 to April 2023,60 elderly patients who underwent ankle surgery in Changshu Second People's Hospital were selected as subjects, and randomly divided into control group(30 cases were treated by conventional scheme)and observation group(30 cases were examined by color Doppler ultrasound, including the first dorsal metatarsal artery of the affected limb to determine its artery diameter, intimal thickness and peak velocity,etc.).The surgical effects of the two groups were compared. Results:Comparing the recovery of ankle joint function between the two groups after operation, the joint function score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Comparing the time of getting out of bed, healing time and pain degree, the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Comparing the excellent and good rate of operation mouth healing between the two groups, the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The arterial diameter, intima thickness and peak velocity of the first dorsal metatarsal artery of the two groups were compared.During the postoperative recovery, the arterial diameter and intima thickness of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the peak velocity was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Color Doppler ultrasound examination can effectively detect the hemodynamic parameters of the first dorsal metatarsal artery in patients undergoing ankle surgery before operation,so as to improve the surgical plan, which can effectively improve the excellent and good rate of surgical healing, speed up the recovery of patients and promote the recovery of joint function at the injured site.
