Causes and Treatment Measures of Red Blood Cell Spillage in MCS+Blood Cell Separator
Objective:To investigate the causes and treatment measures of red blood cell spillage in MCS+blood cell separator.Methods:From November 2020 to November 2022,the data of 100 patients with MCS+blood cell separator red blood cell spillover from the Mechanized Component Department of Tianjin Blood Center were collected,and the results were obtained through analysis and comparison.Results:There were 30 cases(30%)of red blood cell overflow in the first cycle;60 cases(60%)of red blood cell overflow occurred in the second and third cycles;30 cases(30%)of red blood cell overflow occurred in the final cycle;Among the reasons for red blood cell overflow,80 cases(80%)had abnormal blood routine parameters among blood donors;5 cases(5%)of blood donors experienced mental stress;7 cases(7%)of inadequate installation of consumables;3 cases(3%)of fatty blood;5 cases(5%)of blood collection environment.Conclusion:By exploring the causes and treatment measures of erythrocyte spillage in MCS+blood cell separator,the occurrence of erythrocyte spillage can be reduced,so as to make the blood donation process more comfortable for blood donors,so as to promote the development of unpaid blood donation.
