To Compare the Effects of Extraperitoneal Laparoscopic Hernia Repair and Traditional Hernia Repair on Reducing Inflammatory Response and Complications in the Treatment of Inguinal Hernia
Objective:To compare and analyze the application effect of two surgical methods in patients with inguinal hernia. Methods:A total of 80 patients with inguinal hernia were admitted to Xingguo People's Hospital of Jiangxi Province from January 2021 to December 2022.They were divided into two groups according to the random number table method:control group(traditional hernia repair,n=40)and observation group(extraperitoneal laparoscopic hernia repair,n=40).The surgical effects of the two groups were observed and compared. Results:There were significant differences in perioperative indicators between the two groups(P<0.05),and the indicators in the middle observation group were better than those in the other two groups. There was no significant difference in inflammatory factors between the two groups before operation(P>0.05).The levels of inflammatory factors in each group increased after operation, and the difference was significant compared with that before operation(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the levels of inflammatory factors between the two groups after operation(P<0.05),and the levels of inflammatory factors in the middle observation group were lower than those in the other two groups. There was a significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:Compared with traditional hernia repair, extraperitoneal laparoscopic hernia repair is safer and less invasive for patients with inguinal hernia.
