A Study on the Effects of Anesthesia Depth Guided by Anesthesia Depth Monitor on Postoperative Awakening and Adverse Reactions in Elderly Laparoscopic Surgery
Objective:To explore the effect of clinical anesthesia depth guided by anesthesia depth monitoring equipment on postoperative recovery and adverse reactions in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on the clinical data of 150 elderly patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery in our hospital from June 2022 to January 2024.According to the depth of anesthesia during surgery, they were divided into shallow group, moderate group, and deep group, all of which were 50 cases. They were anesthetized under the monitoring of anesthesia depth monitors. The postoperative recovery of the three groups was observed, and the cognitive recovery status of postoperative patients was evaluated using the Mini Mental State Examination(MMSE),and the occurrence of adverse reactions was analyzed. Results:The postoperative recovery time, extubation time, and directional force recovery time of patients in the shallow and moderate groups were significantly shorter than those in the deep group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the shallow and moderate groups(P>0.05).Through evaluation, the MMSE scores of the shallow and moderate groups were higher than those of the deep group at 4 and 8 hours after surgery(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference at 2 hours after surgery(P>0.05),and the shallow and moderate groups were basically the same(P>0.05).The incidence of postoperative adverse reactions was 4.0%in the superficial group,12.0%in the moderate group, and 16.0%in the deep group, with statistically significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Monitoring the depth of anesthesia through an anesthesia depth monitoring device in elderly laparoscopic surgery can help control the depth of anesthesia, improve postoperative recovery quality, reduce the occurrence of adverse anesthesia reactions, and have certain guiding significance for clinical practice.
