Application Study of Ordinary Electrocautery and Plasma Electrocautery in the Surgical Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
Objective:To analyze the clinical effects of using conventional electrocautery and plasma electrocautery for the surgical treatment of prostate hyperplasia in patients.Methods:78 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia admitted from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into two groups according to the different surgical use of electrocautery. The control group(n=39)used conventional electrocautery, while the experimental group(n=39)used plasma electrocautery. The surgical indicators, urodynamic indicators, inflammatory factor levels, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The surgery, hospitalization, and indwelling time of the experimental group patients were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the surgical bleeding was less than that of the control group(P<0.05);After surgery, the PVR of the experimental group patients was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the BCQmax was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);IL-6,IL-2,TNF-α the level was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);The incidence of postoperative complications in the experimental group(2.56%)was lower than that in the control group(20.51%)(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients undergoing surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia, the use of plasma resection endoscopy has a better clinical effect,is beneficial for postoperative recovery, and better controls the degree of postoperative inflammatory response.
