Analysis of the Effect of Swallowing Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulator in Patients with Swallowing Disorder After Stroke
Objective:To analyze the therapeutic effect of swallowing neuromuscular electrical stimulator on swallowing function after stroke. Methods:A total of 180 patients with dysphagia after stroke inTianjin First Central Hospital Shuixi Campus from January 2021 to July 2022 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by digital blind selection method, with 90 cases in each group. The control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment, and the observation group received combined dysphagia neuromuscular electrical stimulator. Results:The total effective rate of observation group was 96.67%,which was significantly higher than that of control group(83.33%)(P<0.05).In addition, the nutritional status of the observation group was better than that of the control group after treatment(P<0.05).The compliance of the observation group was 97.78%,which was higher than that of the control group(81.11%)(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 1.11%,lower than 13.33%in the control group(P<0.05).At 6 months and 12 months after treatment, the life quality scores of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Neuromuscular electrical stimulator showed positive effect in improving swallowing dysfunction after stroke, and the treatment is more effective and safe.
