The Clinical Application Value of Color Doppler Ultrasound Diagnosis in Psychiatric Patients
Objective:Analyze the practicality and importance of color Doppler ultrasound technology in the clinical diagnosis of psychiatric patients.Methods:35 psychiatric patients admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study group, while 35 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations in our hospital were selected as the control group. Both groups underwent color Doppler ultrasound examination, and the ultrasound characteristics of bilateral lower limb arteries, including vascular structure and blood flow status,as well as any abnormal results found in ultrasound examinations of abdominal parenchymal organs, were studied and compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group(28.57%incidence of bilateral lower limb artery plaques),the study group(60.00%incidence of bilateral lower limb artery plaques)showed a significant increase in the incidence of arterial plaques(P<0.05).The study group showed a significant increase in the thickness of the intima media, which was more prominent compared to the control group. However,in terms of arterial diameter, the performance of the study group was lower than that of the control group. In addition, the number of plaques in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The abnormal detection rate in the ultrasound diagnosis of abdominal parenchymal organs in the study group was 51.43%,significantly higher than the control group's 17.14%(P<0.05).Conclusion:For psychiatric patients who receive long-term treatment with psychotropic drugs, color Doppler ultrasound shows significant ability in diagnosing abdominal diseases and bilateral lower limb artery abnormalities, and is of crucial value in identifying and managing such conditions.
