A Study on Ultrasound Manifestations of Color Doppler and High-Frequency Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Benign and Malignant Thyroid Nodules
Objective:To study and analyze the imaging manifestations of color Doppler ultrasound(CDFI)and high-frequency ultrasound in the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules.Methods:94 patients with thyroid nodules admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients underwent CDFI and high-frequency ultrasound examinations, and the pathological examination results were used as the gold standard for comparative analysis of the examination results. Results:According to pathological examination, there were 64 cases of benign and 30 cases of malignant nodules, accounting for 62.50%and 31.91%respectively.There was a significant difference in TI-RADS grading between the benign group and the malignant group(P<0.05);The benign group with lymph node metastasis, internal hypoechogenicity, absence of surrounding echoes, calcification, and blurred boundaries was lower than the malignant group(P<0.05);Blood flow classification,RI,and PSV were lower in the benign group than in the malignant group(P<0.05).The comparison of sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value,high-frequency ultrasound,CDFI,and combined diagnosis among the three diagnostic methods showed that combined diagnosis had higher values(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, both high-frequency ultrasound and CDFI have definite application advantages, and combined diagnosis can further improve diagnostic accuracy and effectively distinguish the nature of thyroid nodules.
