The Application Value of Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography and Abdominal CT in the Examination of Extrahepatic Gallstones
Objective:To explore the application value of magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography(MRCP)and abdominal CT in the examination of extrahepatic gallstones. Methods:This study conducted data analysis and research based on the period from January 2021 to December 2022.During the observation period,70 suspected patients with extrahepatic gallstones who were admitted for examination were observed. All patients underwent MRCP,abdominal CT examination, and surgical pathology examination. The diagnostic results and accuracy of different methods were compared and analyzed. Results:Based on the results of surgical pathological examination, the coincidence rate between MRCP examination and surgical pathological examination was higher, and the diagnostic accuracy was higher; The diagnostic sensitivity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and diagnostic accuracy of MRCP examination were higher than those of abdominal CT examination, and the differences met statistical standards(P<0.05).However,the differences in the specificity of results between different examination techniques did not meet statistical standards(P>0.05);The accuracy of MRCP examination in disease type analysis was higher than that of abdominal CT examination, and the difference meets statistical standards(P<0.05);The differential diagnostic accuracy of MRCP examination for stones of different volumes was higher than that of abdominal CT examination, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the screening and diagnosis and treatment of extrahepatic gallstone diseases, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography technology has higher accuracy, which is conducive to the differential analysis of disease types and stone volume.
