Application Value of Color Doppler Ultrasound in the Examination of Lower Limb Arterial Disease in Diabetes
Objective:To explore the effectiveness and application value of Doppler ultrasound in the examination of lower limb arterial disease in diabetes.Methods:50 patients with lower extremity arterial disease of diabetes patients who came to our hospital from May 2023 to May 2024 were included as the observation group, and 50 patients with non diabetes in the medical ward at the same time were included as the control group. All patients underwent color Doppler ultrasound examination to compare the incidence and severity of lower limb arterial lesions between the two groups of patients,as well as to compare the incidence, inner diameter, and blood flow velocity of various lower limb arterial vascular lesions between the two groups of subjects. Results:The incidence of lower limb vascular plaques, lower limb vascular stenosis, lower limb vascular occlusion, and thrombosis in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. The lower limb arterial sclerosis score, lower limb arterial plaque score, and lower limb arterial stenosis score of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05 or 0.01).Compared with the control group, the observation group had a higher incidence of vascular lesions in the superficial femoral artery, dorsalis pedis artery, and anterior tibial artery(P<0.05);The diameter and flow velocity of the superficial femoral artery, deep femoral artery, popliteal artery, dorsalis pedis artery, and anterior tibial artery in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of lower limb arterial disease of diabetes can better detect the disease of patients and reflect the specific condition of patients.
