Clinical Efficacy Analysis of Transurethral Thulium Laser Enucleation of Prostate for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
Objective:To analyze the application value of transurethral thulium laser enucleation of prostate(ThuLEP)in the treatment of symptomatic prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods:Taking 400 symptomatic BPH patients admitted to our hospital in recent years(from January 2019 to December 2022)as the subjects of this study, group by random method(numerical table method),observation group of 200 patients were treated with laser enucleation(ThuLEP),the control group of 200 patients were treated with conventional(plasma enucleation),compare the two post-treatment surgical indicators(operation time, catheter retention time, hospital time),complication rate(urinary tract infection, transient urinary incontinence, bladder neck atrophy),the maximum urinary flow rate before and after treatment in the two groups Qmax(the maximum flow rate),VAS(visual analogue score),IPSS(international prostate symptom score). Results:All the surgical indicators were shorter than those of the control group, and the complication rate was low(P<0.05);Comparison of Qmax,VAS and IPSS scores:the difference between the observation group was not significant(P>0.05),and the observation group and the control group improved more significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of ThuLEP in the treatment of symptomatic BPH patients can improve clinical efficacy, reduce postoperative complications, improve the symptoms of dysuria, reduce physical injury, reduce postoperative pain and promote postoperative rehabilitation compared with conventional surgery.
