Imaging Characteristics and Benign/Malignant Analysis of Ground Glass Nodules in the Lungs Using 64-Slice Spiral CT
Objective:To explore and analyze the imaging characteristics of ground glass nodules in the lungs using 64-slice spiral CT and its role in differentiating between benign and malignant lesions.Methods:60 patients with ground-glass pulmonary nodules diagnosed by pathology were selected from our hospital from October 2020 to October 2023 as the observation objects.Routine CT scan and 64-slice spiral CT scan were performed on them successively.Pathological examination was used as the diagnostic standard, and the detection rates of benign and malignant nodules were compared between the two methods, and the imaging characteristics were analyzed.Results:① Imaging characteristics analysis:The maximum diameter of pulmonary ground glass nodules in 60 patients was (0.62±2.75)cm;The lesions in the left lung accounted for 26 cases and the lesions in the right lung accounted for 34 cases. There were 28 cases with regular edges,20 cases with shallow lobed and 12 cases with deep lobed. The tumor-lung interface was blurred in 24 cases and clear in 36 cases. The surface of the lesion was smooth in 27 cases and burr in 33 cases.Vascular cluster sign in 38 cases, vacuole sign in 15 cases, bronchiole air sign in 16 cases; There were 35 cases of vascular crossing and 25 cases of detour.Bronchography was inaccurate in 11 cases, continuous interruption in 28 cases, rigid and distorted in 21 cases.② Pathological examination confirmed that 29 cases of benign nodules and 31 cases of malignant nodules were among the 60 patients.Routine CT scan showed that 23 cases were benign and 25 cases were malignant.64-slice spiral CT scan showed that 28 cases were benign and 31 cases were malignant. There was no significant difference in the detection rate (P>0.05).For comparison of pathological diagnosis coincidence rate,64-slice spiral CT scan was superior to conventional CT,and the data were statistically analyzed by SPSS25.0 statistical software, and the comparison result was P<0.05.Conclusion:64-slice spiral CT scan can obtain the information of many lesions in patients with ground-glass pulmonary nodules, and the analysis of image diagnosis is helpful for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant nodules, which is of great significance for the early diagnosis of the disease, and can lay a reliable diagnostic basis for the formulation of treatment plan in the later stage.
