Diagnostic Value of 64-Slice CT Scanning and Multiplanar Reconstruction in Different Types of Distal Radius Fractures
Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of 64-slice CT scanning and multiplanar reconstruction in different types of distal radius fractures.Methods:113 patients with distal radius fractures were selected as the research object, all of them underwent 64-slice CT scanning, multiplanar reconstruction and arthroscopy, and the results of arthroscopy were taken as the gold standard for diagnosis and classification. The coincidence rate, distance of distal edge separation, thickness and number of bone fragments and diagnostic efficiency of AO classification of distal radius fractures were compared between the two methods. Results:The accuracy of 64-slice CT plain scan was 70.80%,and the accuracy of 64-slice CT plain scan was 92.92% after multi-plane reconstruction, which was higher than that of 64-slice CT plain scan (P<0.05).CT multi-plane reconstruction was superior to 64-slice CT plain scan in terms of dorsal border separation and displacement distance, thickness and quantity of dorsal bone mass (P<0.05).The diagnostic efficacy of multi-plane CT reconstruction group in the diagnosis of AO classification of distal radius fractures were as follows:The sensitivity 98.15% (106/108),specificity 62.50% (5/8) and accuracy 93.81% (106/113) were superior to the 64-slice CT plain scan group[sensitivity 82.98% (78/94),specificity 26.32% (5/19),accuracy 73.45% (83/113)](P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with 64-slice CT plain scan,CT multiplanar reconstruction has a higher diagnostic rate for AO classification, which can better and efficiently assist clinicians in AO classification.
