The Effect of Mechanical Nickel Titanium File Combined with Ultrasound Irrigation in the Treatment of Chronic Pulpitis
Objective:Exploring the effect of using nickel titanium files combined with ultrasound irrigation in the treatment of chronic pulpitis.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 120 patients with chronic pulpitis admitted to Tianjin Medical University General Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024.They were randomly divided into a control group (60 cases) using a random number table method.Mechanical nickel titanium files were used to prepare the root canal with a syringe for irrigation,while the observation group (60 cases) used mechanical nickel titanium files to prepare the root canal with ultrasound irrigation.Observe the preparation effect,pain situation,treatment related time,and complications two groups of patients.Results:The incidence of good root canal preparation and shape in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05);The visual analogue scale (VAS) score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05);The observation group had lower root canal preparation time,root canal filling time,and root canal irrigation time than the control group (P<0.05);The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of mechanical nickel titanium files and ultrasonic irrigation can effectively improve the effect of root canal preparation and shaping,alleviate pain,shorten treatment time,and reduce the incidence of complications in the treatment of chronic pulpitis.
