The Application of PDCA Management Mode in the Management of Orthopedic Surgical Instruments
Objective:To investigate the application effect of PDCA management mode in the management of orthopedic surgical instruments.Methods:400 orthopedic surgical instruments and 20 medical staff were selected for the study, from November 2021 to January 2024.They were randomly divided into two groups:a control group and an observation group, with 200 surgical instruments and 10 medical staff in each group. The control group adopted conventional management mode, while the observation group adopted PDCA management mode. The adverse reactions of surgical instruments, basic indicators, instrument operation qualification rate, and management quality were compared between the two groups. Results:The adverse reactions during surgery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the error rate of instruments and component loss rate were lower than those in the control group. The intact rate, cleaning qualification rate, and doctor satisfaction rate were higher in the observation group than in the control group. The management quality score was higher in the observation group than in the control group, with a value of P<0.05.Conclusion:Implementing the PDCA cycle management model in orthopedic surgical instrument management can help strengthen the quality of instrument management and has very good results.
