Value Analysis of TCT Combined with Electronic Colposcopy in Diagnosis of Cervical Diseases
Objective:To study and analyze the value of liquid based thin layer cytology (TCT) combined with electronic colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical diseases. Methods:80 patients with suspected cervical diseases admitted to hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were studied. TCT,electronic colposcopy and pathological examination were performed in all patients. The results of pathological examination were taken as the "gold standard" to analyze the efficacy of different examination methods in diagnosing cervical diseases. In addition, the detection of different cervical lesions by different examination methods was compared. Results:A total of 59 positive and 21 negative cervical lesions were detected by "gold standard". TCT detected a total of 60 positive cervical lesions,of which 7 were missed and 8 were misdiagnosed. A total of 58 positive cervical lesions were detected by electronic colposcopy,of which 10 were missed and 9 were misdiagnosed. A total of 60 positive cervical lesions were detected by combined examination, including 1 missed diagnosis and 2 misdiagnosed. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of combined examination were 98.31%,90.48%,96.25%,96.67% and 86.36%,respectively. They were higher than 88.14%,61.90%,81.25%,86.67%,65.00% by TCT alone and 83.05%,57.14%,76.25%,84.48%,54.55% by electronic colposcopy alone (P<0.05). The detection rate of TCT combined with electronic colposcopy for cervical cancer was 100.00%,which was higher than that of TCT and electronic colposcopy alone (42.86% and 28.57%) (P<0.05). Conclusion:TCT combined with electronic colposcopy can effectively improve the diagnostic efficiency of cervical diseases, especially the detection rate of cervical cancer.
