Objective:To study the application effect of gastroscopy combined with ultrasound small probe in the diagnosis of gastric precancerous lesions. Methods:From March 2022 to December 2023,76 suspected patients with gastric precancerous lesions who underwent diagnosis and treatment in our hospital were selected and included in the study. All patients underwent gastroscopy and ultrasound small probe examination, and the pathological diagnosis results were used as the gold standard. The diagnostic efficacy of gastroscopy and ultrasound small probe single and combined examinations in gastric precancerous lesions,as well as the detection of different levels of gastric precancerous lesions and lesions, were calculated and compared. Results:The accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, positive predictive rate, negative predictive rate, and number of different precancerous lesions in the diagnosis of gastric cancer by gastroscopy combined with ultrasound small probe examination were higher than those by gastroscopy examination, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The detection rate of low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia using gastroscopy combined with ultrasound small probe examination is higher than that using gastroscopy examination, and the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the detection rate of high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia between gastroscopy and gastroscopy combined with ultrasound small probe examination (P>0.05). Conclusion:The combination of gastroscopy and ultrasound small probe is effective in the diagnosis of precancerous lesions of gastric cancer, with high accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, and more accurate judgment of the nature of the lesion. It provides important clinical basis for formulating treatment measures, has high clinical value.
