Application of Automatic Blood Analyzer in Neonatal Cord Blood Routine Detection
Objective:To analyze and study the application effect of fully automatic blood analyzer in neonatal umbilical cord blood gas detection. Methods:60 newborns born in the obstetrics department of our hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects. A fully automatic blood analyzer was used to analyze eight parameters including umbilical cord blood pH value, partial pressure of oxygen (PO2),bicarbonate (HCO3),residual alkali (BE),total carbon dioxide (TCO2),glucose (Glu),hemoglobin (Hb),hematocrit (HCT),etc.,and the results were summarized and analyzed. Results:Comparing gender differences, the detection parameters of pH,HCO3,BE,and TCO2 in male infants were lower than those in female infants (P<0.05),while the detection parameters of Glu and Hb in male infants were higher than those in female infants, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);Comparing the differences in different delivery methods, the blood gas test results of umbilical cord blood pH,HCO3,BE,TCO2,Hb,HCT,etc. in infants delivered by cesarean section are lower than those in infants delivered naturally(P<0.05);The Glu test results of infants delivered by cesarean section were higher than those of infants delivered naturally, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of fully automated blood analyzers in neonatal umbilical cord blood gas testing has shown good results.
