Observation of the Therapeutic Effect of Laparoscopic Small Incision Radical Gastrectomy for Advanced Gastric Cancer
Objective:Exploring the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic minimally invasive small incision surgery in patients with advanced gastric cancer (AGC). Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 88 AGC patients admitted to our department from January 2023 to May 2024. They were randomly divided into two groups, with 44 patients in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received traditional open radical surgery for gastric cancer, while the observation group received laparoscopic small incision radical surgery for treatment. Compare the intraoperative related indicators, overall clinical efficacy, postoperative gastrointestinal function, and incidence of complications between two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, the observation group had less average bleeding during surgery, shorter total hospital stay, and significantly better overall clinical response rate. The comparison of postoperative gastrointestinal function between two groups of patients showed that the observation group was significantly better than the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower, with P<0.05 for both groups. Conclusion:Laparoscopic small incision radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer has significant therapeutic effects, removes tumor cells in the target area, reduces bleeding, and has fewer safety and adverse complications. The patient's postoperative function recovers quickly, making it an ideal surgical procedure for AGC patients.
