The Clinical Value of Transvaginal Ultrasound Combined with Hysteroscopy in the Diagnosis of Endometrial Polyps
Objective:The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the accuracy of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound combined with hysteroscopy in the diagnosis of endometrial polyps. Methods:A total of 193 cases of suspected endometrial polyps admitted to Nanping Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023,were selected. All of them underwent vaginal color Doppler ultrasound (some of them underwent three-dimensional ultrasound) and hysteroscopy. Biopsy pathological results were the gold standard for diagnosis. By retrospective comparative analysis of hysteroscopy combined with transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound and transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound alone. The diagnostic accuracy of endometrial polyps. Results:The accuracy of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasonography in 193 cases of suspected endometrial polyps was 60.62% (117 cases). The accuracy of hysteroscopy combined with transvaginal ultrasound color Doppler ultrasound was 98.40% (190 cases),which was significantly higher than 60.62% of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound (P<0.05). Conclusion:Hysteroscopy combined with transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound can significantly improve the diagnostic accuracy of endometrial polyps.
