A Study on the Diagnosis of Hyperlipidemia by Carotid Artery Ultrasound
Objective:To analyze the diagnostic effect of carotid color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of hyperlipidemia. Methods:The study subjects were 56 patients diagnosed with hyperlipidemia in our center from May 2023 to April 2024,and they were taken as the study group, and 56 non-hyperlipidemia patients who were treated in our center during the same period were taken as the reference group. The diagnosis of carotid artery color Doppler ultrasound was compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the reference group, the probability of intima-media thickening, the number of total plaques, the number of soft plaques and mixed plaques in the study group were higher,P<0.05;The number of cases of plaque distribution in different parts of the two groups was similar, and there was no statistical difference (P>0.05). Conclusion:There is a close relationship between hyperlipidemia and carotid atherosclerotic plaque. The clinical screening of hyperlipidemia by carotid color Doppler ultrasound can achieve ideal results, which has an important impact on the subsequent evaluation and judgment. It can not only check the probability of intima-media thickening of patients, the nature and quantity of plaques, but also help doctors to observe the distribution of plaques more intuitively and accurately, and provide reliable information for the determination of subsequent treatment direction and the selection of treatment plans.
