Analysis of the Clinical Effects of Laparoscopic Transabdominal Preperitoneal Hernia Repair and Complete Extraperitoneal Hernia Repair in Elderly Patients with Inguinal Hernia
Objective:To explore the difference in therapeutic effects between laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair and complete extraperitoneal hernia repair in elderly patients with inguinal hernia. Methods:70 elderly patients with inguinal hernia were randomly divided into a control group of 35 cases who underwent laparoscopic anterior peritoneal hernia repair, and a study group of 35 cases who underwent complete extraperitoneal hernia repair using a random number table method. Compare the differences in effectiveness between the two surgeries. Results:There was a significant difference in the surgical indicators between the two groups compared to the control group, except for intraoperative blood loss (P<0.05). And the research group's postoperative TNF-α,the levels of IL-6 and hs CRP indicators were lower compared to the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications (2.86%) and recurrence rate (0) between the study group and the control group (11.43%,2.86%) (P>0.05). Conclusion:Compared with laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal hernia repair, complete extraperitoneal hernia repair can reduce postoperative micro inflammatory reactions, promote faster recovery, and reduce hospitalization costs in elderly patients with inguinal hernia.
