Classification of Ventilator Preventive Maintenance Based on Quality Control Detection Index
Objective:To classify the preventive maintenance of ventilators based on the quality control detection index. Methods:202 ventilators from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected for quality control testing, and three categories were divided according to the test results, and preventive maintenance was carried out according to different categories. Results:Of 202 ventilators selected in this study,152 were qualified after testing, and the qualified rate was 75.25%. The unqualified rates of tidal volume and oxygen concentration were relatively high, accounting for 42.00% and 24.00% respectively, while the unqualified rates of inspiratory pressure, positive end-respiratory pressure, ventilation frequency and safety alarm were relatively low. The qualified rate of ventilators within 5 years of use was the highest (83.22%),while the qualified rate of ventilators with a service life of more than 5 years was about 60.00%. The qualified rate of ventilator detection in all kinds of ICU was relatively low (64.91%),and the qualified rate of other departments was higher than 80.00%. After one year of follow-up analysis, the qualified rate of ventilators selected in this study was 85.00% after the preventive maintenance plan of ventilators was carried out according to categories. Conclusion:The quality inspection of ventilator should be carried out regularly, and the maintenance plan based on the classification of preventive maintenance of ventilator under the quality control detection index should be implemented to ensure the performance of ventilator, reduce the failure rate of ventilator and improve the use efficiency of ventilator.
