The Effect of High-Strength Glass Ion FX-ULTRA Non-Invasive Repair Technology on the Restoration of Deciduous Teeth Caries in Children and Its Impact on Chewing Function
Objective:To apply high-strength glass ion FX-ULTRA non-invasive repair technology to children's deciduous teeth caries,explore its repair effect and its impact on chewing function in children. Methods:A total of 91 children with deep caries in their deciduous teeth admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected. They were divided into two groups according to different restoration methods. The control group (44 cases) received high-speed turbine rotation restoration,while the observation group (47 cases) received high-strength glass ion FX-ULTRA non-invasive restoration technology. The restoration effect and chewing function of the two groups were compared. Results:There were no significant difference in the values of occlusal,buccal,lingual,adjacent,and all dental caries between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment,the observation group showed significant differences in the above indicators compared to the control group (P<0.05);There were no significant difference (P>0.05) in the tooth sensitivity Tactile value and pain level (VAS) between the two groups before treatment. After treatment,there was a difference in the above indicators between the observation group and the control group (P<0.05);The overall level of tooth retention and marginal fit in the observation group after restoration was better than that in the control group (P<0.05);There was no significant difference in chewing function between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment,there was a difference in the above indicators between the observation group and the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The high-strength glass ion non-invasive repair technology has a satisfactory effect on the restoration of deciduous tooth caries in children. It can reduce tooth sensitivity and pain,improve the retention and edge fit of the repair site,and enhance the chewing function of the affected child.
