Effect of Bronchoscopic Alveolar Lavage Combined with Antibiotic Therapy on Control of Severe Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia Infection
Objective:To observe the effect of bronchofiberscope (BFS) alveolar lavage combined with antibiotics in patients with severe ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). Methods:A total of 80 patients with severe VAP admitted to our hospital from October 2020 to May 2024 were selected as the study objects. The control group and the study group were divided into groups under the intervention of random number table method and received conventional drug therapy,BFS alveolar lavage combined with antibiotics, respectively. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared and observed. Results:The total effective rate of the study group was high, and the pulmonary infection score after treatment was low,and the expression levels of lung function and inflammatory indicators were significantly improved in the study group after treatment (P<0.05),and the symptom improvement time was short in the study group after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion:BFS combined with antibiotics is effective and worthy of further application.
