The Difference Analysis of MCV,MCH and MCHC in Peripheral Blood and Venous Blood of Children was Determined by Automatic Blood Cell Analyzer
Objective:To investigate the differences in the expression of MCV,MCH and MCHC in children's peripheral blood and venous blood by automatic blood cell analyzer. Methods:A total of 309 children under 6 years old who underwent blood routine examination in our hospital from December 2021 to December 2023 were retrospectively selected as the study objects. According to blood collection methods, they were included in the peripheral group (168 cases) and the venous group (141 cases) respectively. The mean red blood cell volume (MCV),mean red blood cell hemoglobin volume (MCH) and mean red blood cell hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) levels of children in two groups, different genders and different ages were analyzed. Results:The levels of MCV and MCH in venous group were higher than those in peripheral group, and the levels of MCHC were lower than those in peripheral group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in MCV,MCH and MCHC levels between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:There are differences in MCV,MCH and MCHC levels between peripheral blood and venous blood of children under 6 years old,and the results of venous blood detection are more accurate, which can provide more accurate reference for clinical work.
