The Effects of Fetal Heart Monitor and Doula Service on Delivery Mode,Labor Progress and Stress
Objective:To study the effects of fetal heart monitor combined with doula service on delivery mode, labor progress and stress. Methods:150 women who gave birth in our hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were selected. They were divided into two groups by random number table method,75 cases in each group. The control group was given routine obstetric interventions and doula service, and the observation group was given fetal heart monitor. The rate of cesarean section, the progress of labor, perinatal indexes (postpartum blood loss and Apgar score),psychological stress response[self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS)]were compared between the two groups. Results:The rate of cesarean section and the total labor time of vaginal delivery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the amount of blood loss within 2 hours after delivery was lower than that in the control group, and the neonatal Apgar score was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After delivery,SAS and SDS scores were much lower in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Fetal heart monitor combined with doula service can reduce the rate of cesarean section, accelerate the progress of labor, reduce the amount of postpartum bleeding, and improve the Apgar score of newborns and postpartum psychological stress.
