Exploring the Effect of Microwave Therapy on Postoperative Recovery of Patients with Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media Undergoing Endoscopic Ear Surgery
Objective:Analyze the postoperative rehabilitation effect of microwave therapy instrument assisted treatment on patients undergoing endoscopic ear surgery for chronic suppurative otitis media. Methods:120 patients who met the inclusion criteria and underwent ear endoscopy treatment for the otitis media in our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. The grouping method was random number expression, with the control group receiving conventional adjuvant therapy and the observation group receiving microwave therapy. The hearing indicators, negative emotions, and postoperative complications after the intervention were analyzed. Results:After the intervention,in the aspect of the air conduction hearing threshold, air bone conduction difference and bone conduction hearing threshold, the observation group was lower than the control group. In the unhealthy reaction incidence rate, the observation group was lower than the control group. In the HAMA and HAMD,the observation group was lower than the control group, which was statistically significant (P<0.05). While it was no statistically significant on no intervention (P>0.05). Conclusion:The use of microwave therapy can improve the hearing status of patients undergoing endoscopic surgery for chronic suppurative otitis media, reduce related complications, improve patient satisfaction, and is clinically recommended.
