Differential Diagnosis of Uterine Fibroids and Adenomyopathy by Color Doppler Ultrasonography
Objective:To explore the clinical value and differential role of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of uterine fibroids and adenomyopathy. Methods:100 patients with suspected uterine fibroids and adenomyosis were selected from Jinjiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 and were directly grouped according to suspected diseases. Patients in both groups received color Doppler ultrasound detection and pathological detection. The results of pathological detection were taken as the gold standard and compared with the results of color ultrasound detection. First,the number of true positive,true negative,false positive and false negative cases was determined,the detection efficiency of color ultrasound was calculated,and the results of color ultrasound detection of the two diseases were compared to find out the differences in the images. Results:In the suspected uterine fibroids group,there were 90 cases of true positive,4 cases of true negative,4 cases of false positive and 2 cases of false negative,respectively. In the suspected adenomyosis group,the corresponding cases of true positive,true negative,false positive and false negative were 60 cases,22 cases,10 cases and 8 cases,respectively. When diagnosing uterine fibroids using ultrasound,the sensitivity was 97.8%,the specificity was 50.0%,and the accuracy was 94.0%;When diagnosing adenomyosis with ultrasound,the sensitivity was 88.2%,the specificity was 68.8%,and the accuracy was 82.0%;Under color ultrasound images,there were obvious differences between uterine fibroids and adenomyopathy in boundary,echo pattern,sound shadow effect,blood flow signal,location and morphology. Conclusion:When color Doppler ultrasound is used to detect suspected uterine fibroids and adenomyopathy,the detection results are very close to the pathological gold standard,and the diagnostic accuracy is very high. In addition,although the clinical symptoms of uterine fibroids and adenomyopathy are similar,the difference between the two diseases is obvious under color ultrasound images,indicating that color ultrasound has a strong role in differentiating the two diseases.
