Analysis of the Clinical Application Value of Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound in Puncture Biopsy of Pulmonary Peripheral Lesions
Objective:To explore the clinical application value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in puncture biopsy of pulmonary peripheral lesions. Methods:From April 2021 to April 2024,86 patients diagnosed with pulmonary peripheral lesions through CT examination were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group (43 cases) received routine ultrasound-guided biopsy of pulmonary peripheral lesions, while the observation group (43 cases) received contrast-enhanced ultrasound-guided biopsy of pulmonary peripheral lesions. The results of two sets of puncture biopsies and the effectiveness of two preoperative ultrasound techniques were evaluated. The manifestations and contrast-enhanced ultrasound features of squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma lesions were observed. Results:Among the control group,43 cases were diagnosed with benign lesions in 12 cases and malignant lesions in 31 cases through pathological biopsy. The observation group confirmed 9 cases of benign lesions and 34 cases of malignant lesions through pathological puncture biopsy. The observation group had a higher puncture accuracy and success rate of first sampling in patients with pulmonary peripheral lesions through contrast-enhanced ultrasound examination, and a lower incidence of puncture complications compared to the control group (P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the size and internal necrosis of squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma lesions. Ultrasound angiography showed that the initial growth time and peak time were consistent, and the growth intensity of adenocarcinoma was greater than that of squamous cell carcinoma (P<0.01). Conclusion:Conducting contrast-enhanced ultrasound examination before biopsy of peripheral pulmonary lesions can further clarify the condition of the lesion, provide accurate and reliable imaging data for puncture treatment, improve the efficiency of puncture and sampling, reduce complications of puncture biopsy, and help to clarify the manifestations of malignant peripheral pulmonary lesions and improve diagnostic value.
