The Value of Ultrasonography in the Diagnosis of Musculoskeletal Joint Diseases
Objective:To analyze the value of ultrasonography in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal joint diseases. Methods:100 patients with musculoskeletal and joint diseases of limbs admitted to our hospital from October 2022 to December 2023 were selected. Musculoskeletal ultrasonography and X-ray examination were performed on all patients. The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of musculoskeletal ultrasound and X-ray diagnosis were compared,as well as the two methods in fine fracture fragments, imaging, echoes of adjacent tissues and fracture line clarity. Results:X-ray examination showed 78 positive cases and 22 negative cases. Musculoskeletal ultrasonography showed 94 positive cases and 6 negative cases. The accuracy and sensitivity of musculoskeletal ultrasonography were significantly higher than that of X-ray examination (P<0.05). At the same time, ultrasonography was also higher than X-ray examination in fine fracture fragments, imaging, echoes of adjacent tissues and fracture line clarity (P<0.05). Conclusion:Ultrasonography is very important in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal joint diseases, which can significantly improve the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity.
