Objective:To explore the application value of 6S management method in the quality management of disinfection of digestive endoscopy instruments. Methods:21 staff members from the Digestive Endoscopy Department were selected from January 2023 to December 2023,and time was used as the grouping criterion. They were divided into pre implementation (January 2023 to June 2023) and post implementation (July 2023 to December 2023),and routine management methods and 6S management measures were adopted respectively. Compare the qualified rate of instrument disinfection and sterilization,the disinfection indicators of digestive endoscopy instruments,the quality score of digestive endoscopy work,and the professional knowledge mastery score of digestive endoscopy nurses. Results:Compared with before implementation,there was an improvement in the qualified rate of instrument disinfection and sterilization after implementation (P<0.05);The improvement of disinfection indicators for digestive endoscopy instruments is clear (P<0.05);The improvement of work quality score in the digestive endoscopy department was positive (P<0.05);The optimization of professional knowledge mastery score for digestive endoscopy nurses was significantly improved (P<0.05). Conclusion:The implementation of 6S management method in the quality management of disinfection of digestive endoscopic instruments has clear application value and significance.
