Observation of the curative effect of injecting Sodium Hyaluronate into articular cavity with treatment of traditional & nbsp;Chinese medicine
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of injecting Sodium Hyaluronate into articular cavity with treatment of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). Method 120 patients were divided into a treatment group and a contrasting group. In the treatment group, 60 patients received the treatment prescription of injecting Sodium Hyaluronate into articular cavity with treatment of TCM, and in the contrasting group, 60 patients only received the treatment prescription of injecting Sodium Hyaluronate into articular cavity, a period of treatment including 5 weeks. Result In the treatment group, the total effective rate was 85%. In the contrasting group, the total effective rate was 68.33%. Conclusion The result above shows that the treatment prescription of injecting Sodium Hyaluronate into articular cavity with oral administration of TCM may significantly improve the knee function, and this prescription is more effective than that of only injecting Sodium Hyaluronate into articular cavity. Hence it may be concluded that this prescription is an effective treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
