Effect of Chinese medicine dialectical therapy on the long-term hemodialysis patients of the nutrition status and the residual kidney function
Objective To study the effect of Chinese medicine dialectical therapy on the long-term hemodialysis patients of the nutrition status and the residual kidney function. Methods 56 cases of nephropathy in long-term hemodialysis and malnutrition patients were divided into Chinese medicine intervention treatment group(group A) and simple dialysis in control group(group B), Group A used Chinese medicine dialectical treatment intervented, treatment for 6 months. The two groups before and after treatment in all, using subjective overall evaluation method and measuring of body mass index, triceps skinfold thickness, arm muscle circumference indexes,to understand the nutritional status of the beginning and after 6 months, and testing the residual renal function changes. Results The patients of group A overall nutritional status than that of group B were significantly improved, and the residual renal function of group A after treatment significantly better than group B,the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05). Conclusion Chinese medicine dialectical therapy can effectively improve the nutrition status of long-term hemodialysis patients and delay the residual kidney function loss.
