CT scan and diagnosis of gastrointestinal stromal tumor
Objective To investigate CT findings of gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST). Methods Thirty cases of gastrointestinal stromal tumor were confirmed by surgery and pathology. The findings on CT in 30 cases were retrospectively analyzed. Conclusion Proper preparation before the CT examination to improve the detection rate, conducive to lesion localization and characterization of multislice, spiral CT scan has great value to detection and diagnosis of gastrointestinal stromal tumor.
