Morphology of IPCL in NERD and EE diagnostic value
Objective To observe the morphology changes of IPCL in GERD(NERD & EE) and to explore its main magnified endoscopic characteristics. Methods NERD 63, and EE 63, were enrolled in this study, 20 healthy volunteers served as control. All the subjects were assessed with 24h ambulatory esophageal pH mnittoring and magnifying endoscope. Biopsy specimens were taken from the region above the mucosa of the esophagogastric junction. Results The positive rate of esophageal pH monitoring was detected more, which was significantly different from theat of the control. Dilation and elongation of IPCL, which was signigicantly different from that of the controls. Conclusion The morphology changes of IPCL are useful for the diagnosis of non-erosive reflux disease.
