Effects of IGF-1 on expression of CTGF in terstitium fibrosis in rats after unilateral ureteral obstruction
Objective To investigate the effects and mechanisms of IGF-1 in rats with Unilatreal Ureteral Obstruction. Methods UUO rat model treated with IGF-1as an active treatment with recognized renoprotective BUN, Ser were measured The expression of col-Ⅳ, CTGF a in kidneys were observed. Result The expression of BUN, Scr, col-Ⅳ, CTGF the renal interstitial fibrotic area were highter significantly than that in sham group. Compared with UUO group, those of the IGF-1groups increased markedly(P <0.05). The level of BUN, Scr, col-Ⅳ, CTGF in UUO group were significantly highter than that in sham and uuo group(P <0.05). Conclusion IGF-1 in the pathophysiology of obstructive nephropathy in the process, especially in the renal interstitial fibrosis plays an important role.
