Analysis of assessment of infection in patients with severe acute pancreatitis
Objective Study on serum Procalcitonin(PCT) and c-reactive protein(CRP) assay in evaluation of severe acute pancreatitis(SAP) in the role of infection in patients with, offer theory reference for clinical diagnosis. Methods Retrospective analysis of methods used for January 2010-December 2012 Hexan Memorial Hospital in Panyu retrospective analysis of 57 cases of the 57 confirmed cases of SAP for cases of patients with Group, among people living with HIV in 22 cases, 35 cases of people living with other select 22 cases of healthy people as a control group. SAP separately case group and a control group of patients with PCT and CRP level of determination. Results SAP infection group serum PCT and CRP levels were significantly higher than the non-infected and control groups, a statistically significant difference(P <0.01). Conclusion PCT and CRP levels in Serum can be as assessed in patients with SAP are effective indicators for infection and infection severity.
