Clinical analysis of eight microscopic polyangiitis patients complicated with pulmonary involvement
Objective To investigate the clinical manifestation of microscopic polyangiitis(MPA). Methods Eight microscopic polyangiitis patients complicated with pulmonary involvement from January 2008 to December 2012 were studied retrospectively, admitted to the Jiangmen Central hospital. Results Pulmonary involvement were presented in all patients,and renal symptom in seven patients. Chest CT lesions showed ground-glass opacity and pulmonary fibrosis. 6 out of 8 patients were cured or improved. All patients showed positive MPO-ANCA and 6 of P-ANCA. Conclusion The clinical manifestation of MPA were not specific, and most of the MPA patients complicated with pulmonary involvement. Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibedy(ANCA) will be of great value to MPA’s diagnosis.
