Multislice spiral CT low-dose scanning in children nasopharyngeal examination in clinical application
Objective Multislice CT low-dose scan studies in children nasopharyngeal check the application and its clinical value. Methods Will be 42 patients were randomly divided into A, B two groups, each group 21 cases, under the condition of invariable in other scan parameters, group A with 100mA were scanned, group B with 40mA scanning, compared two groups of image quality and radiation dose of the client. Results Two sets of image scores mean comparison is statistically significant, but group B image scores mean is 3.6105, can meet the needs of the clinical diagnosis and treatment; Two groups of adenoidectomy no statistical difference between the average CT value, CT value was statistically difference between the standard deviation; Group B compared with group A, the CTDIvol volumetric CT dose index(mGy) and dose length product DLP(mGy/cm) reduced about 60.00%. Conclusion 120kV, 40mA low dose children nasopharyngeal CT examination, can guarantee the quality of the image, and effectively reduce the radiation dose.
