Clinical research on Xuebijing injection on septic shock
Objective To investigate the clincial value of Xuebiqing on the treatment of septic shock. Methods Select 52 cases of septic shock treated in the hospital from March 2009 to March 2012. Observations were done about the clincial efficacy and prognosis condtions of patients treated with Xuebijing injection(the observation group with 33 cases) and those not treated with Xuebijing injection(the control group with 19 cases). Results After treatment, the HR, temperature and WBC of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05). After treatment for 72 hours, the AST, ALT, BUN and Cr of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levles of PaO2, PaCO2 and PaO2/FiO2 of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05). The mortality of the observation group was 9.1%, significantly lower than 47.7% of the control group(P<0.01). Conclusion While treating septic shock, Xuebijing injection has the integrated effects on bacteria, poisons and inflammatory mediators, and impose positive significance on decreasing mortality and improving prognosis.
