Changes in renal function in patients with pre-diabetes research
Object To observe the blood cystatin C(CysC), serum β2-microglobulin(β2MG), 24-hour urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER), serum creatinine(Scr), blood urea nitrogen(BUN) and changes in sugar metabolism, inflammatory cytokines indicators of patients with prediabetes and to explore different prediabetic state changes in renal function in patients with the characteristics and risk factors. Method 160 cases were divided into pre-diabetes impaired fasting glucose(IFG) group, impaired glucose tolerance(IGT), impaired fasting glucose group, impaired glucose tolerance(IGR) group and control group. We measured the levels of the CysC, β2MG, UAER, Scr, BUN, fasting plasma glucose test(FPG), fasting insulin, HbA1c and hsCRP of all cases. Result The β2MG, CysC, HbA1c%, hsCRP of pre-diabetic groups were significantly higher than the control group, P<0.05; the β2MG, CysC of IGT group and IGR group were significantly higher than the IFG group, P<0.05; The HOMA-IR of IFG groupwas significantly higher than the CON group, P<0.05; hsCRP and FPG, 2hPG, HbA1c%, CysC, β2MG were positively correlated. Conclusion The presence of kidney damage in patients with pre-diabetes, postprandial hyperglycemia, inflammatory factors associated with pre-diabetic renal injury.
