Effects of Wuzhuyu external appling and Chinese herbal medicine in Treating 128 Patients with recurrent oral ulcers
Objective To observe the clinical effects of oral taking of Chinese herbal medicine, combined with Wuzhuyu exterl appling of Yongquan acupoint on recurrent oral ulcers(ROU). Methods A total of 128 patients with ROU in the treated group were treated with the combined therapy, and 120 patients in the control group were treated with Western medicine. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was observed. Results On the 6th day after treatment, the reduction of ulcerated and congestive area as well as the degree of pain in the treated group were more significant than those in the control group.The total effective rates were 95.3% and 67.5% respectively, showing significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion Oral taking of Chinese herbal medicine, combined with Wuzhuyu exterl appling of Yongquan acupoint on recurrent oral ulcers had better clinical effects.
