Cerebrovascular disease and MTHFR gene A1298C polymorphism studies
Objective To investigate the cerebrovascular disease and polymorphisms of MTHFR A1298C relationship. Methods 100 patients admitted to our hospital with 100 cases of cerebrovascular disease for healthy case-control study. Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis(PCR-RFLP) method of MTHFR genotype to be determined. Results Patients with CC genotype and T allele were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05). The group of patients with C allele frequency AC type were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion MTHFR 1298AC type and C allele in the composition of cerebrovascular disease were significantly larger than that considered MTHFR1298C polymorphism may be associated with the incidence of cerebrovascular disease there is a certain correlation.
