Compared the result of high frequency ultrasound with that of mammography. The results of pathologic examination was regarded as the gold standard, compared the combined results of the other two with the result of any one method as well. Results The sensitivity of high frequency ultrasound was 78.8%, while the specificity of that was 85.1%; he sensitivity of manunography was 76.9%, while the specificity of that was 83.8%; he sensitivity of combination of manunography and high frequency ultrasound was 94.2%, while the specificity of that was 92.6%; no significant difference in difference were found between manunography and high frequency ultrasound, it had remarkable difference between the combination and one method. Conclusion The combination of manunography and high frequency ultrasound has high sensitivity and specificity, it is the first choice of methods for patients with breast disease.
