Objective To observe and appraise the effect of doxofylline injection for patients with COPD, bronchial asthma. Methods Comparison between doxofylline and anfylline 63 case of the remedial group were treated for five days with intravenous infusion of 300mg of doxofylline injection which was added to 250ml of glucose, once a day. The control group were treated for five days with intravenous infusion of 250mg of glucose, once a day. The clinical curative effect of two group of patients was compared in the post-treatment. The lung function parameters of two groups are compared after post-treatment. Result In the curative effect, the total effective rate was 96.88% in the doxofylline group and that was 81.25% in control group. In the untoward reaction effective rate was 6.25% in the doxofylline group and that was 25% in control group. There were significant differences between the doxofylline group and the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Compare with anfylline, doxofylline has higher effective rate and lower untoward reaction rate, safe and effective for COPD.
